VET HOME BLANKO, a private veterinary clinic, was established in December 2007. Situated in the heart of professors colony in
the
center of Belgrade. The ambulance has a waiting room, a reception office, a surgical block and a long term care room with the
possibility for the postoperative recovery.

 
Galja Zokic, dr vet. Med. graduated at the Veterinary Faculty, University of Belgrade in the year 2000. During her studies, she
actively volunteered at the Department of obstetrics and artificial insemination, led by Dr Vladimir Magas and Dr Darko Zupanc.
After graduation, compulsory apprenticeship was fulfilled in veterinary clinics Rot and Vet Gate. She passed the state exam in
2001 and started working for Veterina Sistem, the general representative and importer of Virbac, a renown French company for
veterinary medicine. At the same time, she was practicing veterinary medicine at a private veterinary ambulance Vet Centar, where
she later worked as a full time doctor of veterinary medicine form 2005 till 2007. Near the end of 2007, she opened up her own
ambulance.

From 2004 till 2009 she was member of the board of SOS animals, run by Mr. Gorana Paskaljevic and a first doctor of veterinary
medicine in Serbia that implemented the CNR program on cats, financed by the French government.

Since 2002, independently, as well as in cooperation with several animal welfare organizations and many caretakers, she is involved
in the CNR programme directed at Belgrades stray and abandoned animals.

Special education and practice in the field of diagnosis and therapy of diseases in brachiocephalic dogs.

Decennial work, education and insight into the problems of occurrences and movements of diseases with abandoned animals and
